The drama chronicles the life of Ba Qing, the wealthiest woman of the Qin Dynasty. 8. Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace

This historical drama chronicle the marriage of Qing Dyanasty's Emperor Qianlong and Empress Ulanara. With the Ulanara clan in disgrace after Empress Yixiu falls out of favor, Court lady Ruyi learns the politics of the harem and steadily climbs up the ranks to become Empress. Even after surviving through multiple conspiracies and successfully proving her innocence, her relationship with Qianlong becomes irreparable. The story follows young Chinese American professionals working in different industries as they strive to achieve the American dream. Popular singer-actor Li Yi Feng ( Forever Young) stars as a Chinese-American lawyer, who crosses paths with Jiang Shu Ying (So Young) who plays an aspiring designer in New York. They clash over their different working styles and dreams, but they also find romance when it's least expected.

10. Secrets of The Three Kingdoms

During the late Eastern Han dynasty, Emperor Ling's Consort Wang gives birth to twin sons, but she is soon poisoned to death by the jealous Empress He.
