A woman in China went on a massive shoe shopping spree, and bought so many she couldn't fit them all into her car. After breaking up with her boyfriend who wouldn't let her shop online, she had had it and decided a little retail therapy was in order.

Wang Yuan, a young Chinese woman who lives in Chengdu, went to a shoe store and bought exactly 100 pairs of shoes, spending over 20,000 yuan (more than 3,200 US dollars.) She bought all types of shoes in her whirlwind shopping spree. According to the store, she bought long boots, short boots, pumps, sandals, and even men's shoes.

She attracted a crowd as the clerks helped load the shoes into her Smart car. The shoes quickly filled up the small car, she then asked the clerks to tape the rest of the shoes to the outside of the car! We have the photos to prove this really happened.

In the movie, Confession of a Shopoholic, Sophie Kinsella said “When I shop, the world gets better, and the world is better, but then it's not, and I need to do it again."

We sincerely hope Miss Wang is feeling better. Either way, I'm sure she is now on the VIP list at the shoe store.
