Too much of a good thing can apparently make you go blind. A young Chinese woman recently took herself to the hospital after watching 18 straight episodes of her favorite K-drama, and her diagnosis will make you think twice about binge-watching anything again!

Yes, I admit I am a binge-watcher of my favorite shows on occasion, but I have definitely never watched 18 episodes straight of anything in my life! According to lifestyle weblog Shanghaiist, a 20-year-old woman from Nanjing started to feel excruciating pain in her eyes, along with blurred vision, redness, and a headache after watching 16 consecutive episodes of Cheese in the Trap and two of Descendants of the Sun on her tablet before she couldn't take the pain anymore and took herself to a hospital. After getting checked out by a few doctors, she was diagnosed with acute glaucoma, and told that if she had waited any longer to get treated, she might have actually lost her eyesight.

Surprisingly, she is not the first victim of excessive K-drama watching. Two years ago, another Chinese woman suffered a heart attack after watching too much My Love From Another Star. I know we all love watching dramas, but they're definitely not worth going blind over or having a heart attack for. So be careful, everybody.

Remember, everything in moderation.

"She did what?"
