Whisky connoisseurs know that it is a delicate job creating the perfect chocolate and whisky pairing. For those of us not up to the task, Japanese brand Glico teamed up with whisky brand Suntory to create a brand new Pocky flavor that infuses the classic chocolate pretzel treat with some hard liquor.

First they add wort, a sweet liquid made of fermented and distilled malted barley, to the pretzel dough. Then the baked pretzel is dipped in whisky-scented chocolate. 

Japanese whisky brand Suntory then gave their stamp of approval that this snack suits whisky perfectly.

So the question is, do you want to try it? And if you do, will you be dipping your Pocky into your whisky, or skipping the whisky all together and heading straight for the crunchy, sweet snack?
