Yong Pal promises the return of Stephanie Lee and a surprise ending
Yong Pal fans are happy that Cynthia, played by new breakout star Stephanie Lee, will return to the final episode to be aired this week. However, the production is also promising a surprise reversal for the ending. What's it all about? Here are some possible endings. What is your prediction?
In case you didn't know, Stephanie Lee made an impressive appearance in episodes 1 through 8 as an agent for hire under the guise of Cynthia, the VIP floor's manager. When she exited, fans openly called for her return. (Read 8 surprising facts about her HERE.)
That's the good news!
So what's the bad news?
Here's what the production also promises, according to an insider: “There will be an unexpected reversal in the story line. Please stay tuned.”
As you know, an ending could be happy, sad, or open (for something in between), according to the usual drama formulas.
So what do they mean by "an unexpected reversal"?
Whatever it is, it needs to be convincing and satisfying in my book.
Here are my "tiny" wishes ranked by satisfaction:
#1: Tae Hyun (Joo Won) is united with Yeo Jin (Kim Tae Hee) in a happy compromise. She continues to run her company but with a kindness that Tae Hyun approves. Tae Hyun continues to work as a doctor, and they live happily ever after.
#2: Yeo Jin gives up her business ambition and finds Tae Hyun after a long search. They live happily ever after.
#3: Yeo Jin and Tae Hyun both give up living in Korea and fly away to live in a hut in Switzerland. And they live happily ever after.
Here comes what I think could match the "unexpected reversal" ending!
#4: Yeo Jin stays on as Queen of Han Shin enterprise. Because she loves Tae Hyun, she is willing to let him live the way he chooses. Tae Hyun is sad, but when Cynthia comes back, they realize they are the perfect match because they are both into medicine and helping people.
Actually, I'm not against #4. It would certainly be a giant surprise ending.
What is your prediction?
