Yoo In Ah (Secret Love Affair, Sungkyunkwan Scandal) has expressed his wishes to enlist in the Korean military to fulfill his mandatory duty, however, it seem like his dreams may be postponed for yet another year. According to his label UAA Entertainment, the actor did not pass his physical examination due to a past injury that continues to be a hindrance to his enlistment plans.

Back in 2015, Yoo Ah In sustained a serious shoulder injury while filming a movie. Despite occurring almost a year ago, the repercussions of the incident have prevented him from beginning his active service.

In December of 2015, the actor received his first physical examination for his military enlistment at the military affairs office in Daegu. His results stated that he needed a 6-month period to observe the injured area. Earlier this year, he was reexamined and told again to watch the injured area carefully. Recently, Yoo Ah In was examined for a third time with similar results.

With the status of his enlistment being "postponed," his label, frustrated, released the following statement, "Yoo Ah In has pushed back his contracts with productions as well as advertisement deals in order to enlist. But we keep hearing that "in this state, we cannot issue a call to enlistment'... At this rate, Yoo Ah In has no options to be able to enlist successfully. He has no choice but to wait for his reexamination date."

It is unfortunate news for Yoo Ah In. We, along with his fans, wish him a speedy recovery so that he can fulfill his duty to his country.
