This probably doesn't come as a surprise to many, but the news has been confirmed. Instant noodles are about the worst thing you could put in your body.

All instant noodle lovers around the world now have some very serious choices to make. According to a study published in the Journal of Nutrition, eating instant noodles twice a week significantly increases risks for heart attacks, strokes, and other not so pleasant ailments. Apparently, in the study, they found that more women were adversely affected than men, possibly due to a substance (BPA) in the Styrofoam containers of these noodles that affect hormones. The MSG, chemical preservatives, saturated fats, and sodium aren't too great for you either. Just devastating news for instant noodle connoisseurs everywhere.

Per capita, South Korea ranks number one in the world in instant noodle consumption. But this new finding affects all people in instant noodle eating nations around the world. I know that Japan is also pretty serious about their cup noodles, along with other Asian countries. Even here in America, these quick and yummy noodles are eaten by those on a budget. I remember it being a staple in my college dorm.

So, now we all know. Instant ramen can kill you. But so can too much salt, whiskey, burgers, cigarettes, potato chips, ice cream, sitting down too long, not getting enough sleep, stress, and now they're saying too much exercise. The list goes on and on.

As has always been said... Anything in moderation.
