Wu Xin: The Monster Killer has been a surprise hit. Although we knew the series was popular in China and gave rise to breakout star Elvis Han, it is still nice to see how quickly it acquired a strong following among DramaFever fans. The beginning song, "By Lake Baikal," was written and sung by Chinese songwriter Li Jian, who had visited the lake in Russia and was enthralled and inspired by its beauty and similar scenery to Harbin, the northern Chinese city where he grew up.

The ending theme song is called The Longest Journey, and sung by Li Qi, the winning singer at the Voice of China show in 2013.
