Biography

Alejo Sauras was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain on June 29th, 1979. He started to take shape as an actor in different drama schools and at the same time he studied Japanese in the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Madrid. He debuted in the television series Menudo es mi padre, Compañeros, and A las once en casa with roles in various episodes. In 1998, Alejo Sauras debuted in cinema with the movie Mensaka. Later on he became very popular when he participated in the television series Al salir de clase where he played a homosexual teenager called Santi.

Then Alejo partook in movies like Y decirte alguna estupidez, por ejemplo, te quiero and Diario de una Becaria. In the year 2003 he participated in the second season of Javier ya no Vive Solo along with Emilio Aragón. Soon after he started to interpret the character Raúl in the series Los Serranos which brought him a lot of fame. His most recent work has been in the comedy series Fenómenos from Antena3. Alejo Sauras won the Best Actor award from the Festival de Cáceres for his performance in Bienvenido a Casa.
