Love it. Always have and always will. A wonderful coming of age story mixed with a handful of cliche tropes I will forever enjoy.
This movie is pure fluff, light and enjoyable.
This drama has been deemed a domestic failure and it's ratings were not great; however I believe that it was a beautiful drama. Each version has its own merits and should be appreciated separately. I don't really understand the hate that IU's acting gets, there are times that it could use work but I've seen nearly all her dramas and she does not deserve the rep she has been given. Lee Joon Ki was wonderful as always. This was a very powerful, and very emotional, performance from all lead actors. I have not watched the director's cut/domestic sbs version of the drama yet but I think that this can hold its own. There were a few times in the first few episodes that I felt info was missing(don't get me started on the hairpieces), but the end was nicely done. I cried a lot and was saddened by the ending but I felt that it was expected and it fit, no matter how depressing it was. This is worth watching by my standards.
