Loved this elderly K-drama! Many poignant and heartfelt moments <3 I am left touched and inspired!
Overall, I really liked the series. Long story short, this series is a must watch because of many beautiful qualities such as the castings, cinematography (there were too many moments that took my breathe away) and also the soundtrack (current listening to it right now, L O L) The first 5 eps or so was stronger, then started to become lackluster and picked up towards the end. Then again that's with any kdramas.
4/5 - I' being generous honestly with this rating, if not, I think it would've gotten a 3.5. As much as I wanted to give it a perfect 5, it would've had to be perfect as in perfectly amazing. Nonetheless, Nail Shop Paris is almost in that category. At first, when I saw that it only had 10 episode, I was reluctant to even give it a chance. After watching the first episode, I was immediately proven wrong. It undeniably had the similar plot as "Coffee Prince" but I really loved how they intertwined it with fantasy. So I guess, i can say it's Coffee Prince meets Charmed = TWO OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS :) I also loved the structure of each episode, like Law & Order, they solved a case in one episode. Now that I think about it, the length of 10 episodes was perfect given it's structure & storyline. Noting was draggy & nothing was drawn out. The story gets better & better.
