or more like stormed in my case. I can't get away from this drama! Such stunning cinematography that just leaves you speechless (especially in the 70s), a phenomenal supporting cast, and a cute (and pretty original!) story commandeered by top-notch performances by both geun suk and yoona. the rest give great performances as well. It rains love but it thunders a full range of emotions. you genuinely care about the characters and their situations. Not to mention this is the first drama i've actually stormed with enough emotion to almost literally punch my screen at times (*cough* wednesday nights when it's like important cliff-hanging revelation!!!...to be revealed next week...)... Anyway, this show comes at a high recommendation from an extreme romantic to anyone who can relate to ever having loved. The storyline, although perhaps not common in real life, is nonetheless extremely relatable (i find myself saying, 'that's just like me' a lot).
I'm a college student and hardly ever have time for dramas any more. I have several big assignments due this week...and let me say, staying off this drama to study is sooo hard! And I kinda don't like getting bad grades, but it's THAT good!
okay, so some reviewers on here do have valid points...this is not Koo Hye Sun at her strongest (Park Shin Hye would have been a better choice for Go Eun Bi), Jae Yi and Eun Bi's relationship could have been played up more, and the plot is seriously lacking for an episode or two, but this is a show that kind of grows on you. I actually find it much more like real life than a lot of the shows since the characters aren't so clear-cut as good and bad. Let's face it...in real life good people make unfavorable choices once in awhile and bad people aren't incapable of making good choices. It's not over-the-top dramatic either, and I believe the plot complications that happen around episode seven or eight are quite tastefully done... I actually have come to find this show quite savory...just don't go into it expecting a boys over flowers repeat. Think of something a little more like BOF meets Shining Inheritance...that's what you get in this drama :).
