This story is very loosely based on the movie Overboard. I wish the husband had just been her fiance or that they had already been divorced since the relationship between the two leads progressed rather awkwardly. I thought there was a lot of potential chemistry between the two leads but it just fizzled instead of sizzled. Perhaps it was because she was technically still a married woman that the writers felt they couldn't have too many romantic moments, otherwise they would be venturing into the territory of infidelity. Overall, the story was fairly cute when it wasn't bogged down by the scheming husband scenes or by repetitive episodes where the plot progressed little.
The only saving grace to this drama is Daniel Henney. Unfortunately, his scenes are few and far between. It's also sad when the main female lead seems to have more chemistry with a "walk-on" actor (Henney) than with the main male lead. I did enjoy Kim SunAh's performance. I thought Sam Soon was cute and lively. Hyun Bin's character, however, was downright despicable and something of a misogynist.
This drama had a lot of squandered potential. It had a couple of cute "gay roommate" misunderstanding scenes, but then the tone got a bit strange and turned into some sort of Hitchcock-like dead mother mystery. I will agree with another poster, it has one of the better kisses I've seen in a k-drama and the chemistry between the leads was pretty good.
