Biography

Jorge Zabaleta was born in Santiago, Chile on April 18th, 1970. He enrolled in acting in the school of Televisión Nacional de Chile, taking classes along with the well-known actor Luis Alarcón. Jorge debuted in the TV series Loca Piel. Following this, he got contacted and hired by Canal 13 where he participated in drama productions like Playa Salvaje, Marparaíso,Cerro Alegre, and Corazón Pirata. Later on her participated in the movie Antonia.

In 2003, Jorge Zabaleta landed the role of protagonist for the TV series Hippie following with productions like Brujas, Descarado, andPapi Ricky. Throughout his career he also has participated in numerous telenovelas like Hijos del Monte, Los Ángeles de Estela, La Familia de al lado, and Aquí mando yo. Later on in his career, Premios TV Grama granted him the Best Actor award for his performance in Separados.
